ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This PR changes subscription and data-freshness behavior across multiple mobile thread surfaces, including a live-shell side subscription added to preserve visit tracking. The refactor is coherent and performance-focused, but its broad existing-path impact merits native/runtime verification before approval. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

The thread shell components rendered the same number of times on both: Caveat on the scenario: Haiku streamed its reasoning item, then delivered the reply text in one update, so the window covers reasoning deltas. The quiet-shell benefit may show more on a provider that streams reply text token by token. Claude Opus 5.5 via Claude Code. |

- Line 605: Update the server-config hook used by the drain logic to use
useServerConfigs instead of useServerConfigsWithProviders, since serverConfigs
is only needed for maxUploadBytes and provider-status updates should not trigger
queue scans.

Taking over this one. I'll resolve conflicts with current main, retain the live visit tracking and provider-dependent paths, and push the focused change to this branch. |

Mobile thread readers subscribed to streaming-only shell fields and provider status changes they did not use. Read the shared quiet shell and provider-free config atoms where appropriate; keep live timestamps in the visit watermark leaf and full provider catalogs in prompt links and scheduled tasks. The outbox drain only needs upload limits, so it also uses provider-free config.
Maintainer takeover of #20963, originally by @juliusmarminge. Merged main while preserving its React Compiler refactoring. Removed two unnecessary test mock renames; no new regression tests were needed because the shared atom behavior and outbox flows already have coverage.
Verification: 213 focused tests passed across 16 mobile/shared files. Mobile typecheck and scoped lint passed (14 existing warnings). Opus and Sol full-diff reviews found no code defects. Native render counts and the extracted visit watermark have not been exercised on this head. This is a subscription change with no visual layout change; screenshots would not establish the performance claim. No new native speedup is claimed. macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and Electron desktop were not exercised in this headless Linux takeover. Human native verification remains necessary.
The Browser panel could not start because the host lacks Chromium system libraries; no browser screenshots were captured.
Historical device measurements do not establish a reliable performance gain on compiled main. The original body reported 41→35 renders per commit for the open-thread scenario; a later measurement reported 68→73 and more commits in the measurement window. Those runs predate this takeover. A sustained current-head native comparison and visit/unread check remain required before claiming readiness.
